Legal information

Terms, privacy, and legal information

These terms explain how GhostlyInc.com, Ghostly tools, digital downloads, payments, privacy, affiliate links, and external services are managed.

This page was last updated on 13/06/2026.

Scope

Who these terms apply to

These terms apply when you visit GhostlyInc.com, read guides, use interactive checks, follow affiliate links, download free tools, purchase digital downloads, or use Ghostly tools and product pages.

Product-specific store terms, marketplace terms, open-source licences, release notes, or purchase terms may supplement these terms for a specific product or platform.

If a right cannot be limited under the law applicable to you, these terms do not limit that right.

Website content

Guides, reviews, and technical information

GhostlyInc.com publishes technical guides, tool pages, reviews, tests, and practical explanations. This content is general information, not legal, tax, security, operational, or professional advice.

You are responsible for testing instructions in a safe environment, maintaining backups, checking provider terms, and deciding whether a tool or guide suits your project, device, server, network, or legal situation.

Prices, features, provider limits, platform rules, and external service availability may change. Check the final provider, store, checkout, or product page before relying on a decision.

Digital downloads

Purchases, instant delivery, and withdrawal rights

Some GhostlyInc products are digital downloads, such as SVG flag packages, Blazor source files, Razor components, source code archives, desktop software, CLI packages, and licence-based tool editions.

Digital products are delivered electronically. There is no physical shipment unless a product page explicitly states otherwise.

When the checkout offers instant delivery, you request immediate supply of the selected digital product after payment. Where applicable law permits, you acknowledge that a statutory withdrawal right for digital content may be lost once delivery or download access begins.

This does not remove mandatory consumer rights, legal guarantees, or remedies that cannot be excluded by contract.

If a download fails after completed payment, contact GhostlyInc with sufficient order information to identify the purchase. Do not publish order IDs, licence information, payment data, or private files in public issue trackers.

Licence

Licence and intellectual property

Unless a product page or separate licence states otherwise, purchased digital downloads are licensed to you on a non-exclusive, non-transferable basis for your own projects or internal work.

You may not resell, redistribute, publish, upload, sublicense, or package GhostlyInc digital downloads as a competing product or standalone asset collection unless written permission allows it.

GhostlyInc, GhostlyShare, GhostlyBridge, GhostlyDDns, GhostlyHosting, PixelPress, product names, page content, visual assets, source downloads, and documentation remain owned by GhostlyInc or their respective licensors.

Some tools may include third-party or open-source components. Those components remain subject to their own licences and notices.

Tools

Tool-specific responsibility

Ghostly tools are developer and operations utilities. They can affect local apps, public links, servers, DNS records, image files, deployment workflows, and third-party accounts. Use them only when you understand the change being made.

GhostlyShare

GhostlyShare can create public links to local apps, APIs, dashboards, and services. You are responsible for access protection, secrets, personal data, local app security, lawful content, and terminating links when sharing should end. GhostlyShare is not permanent production hosting and does not provide uptime guarantees.

GhostlyBridge

GhostlyBridge can help manage servers, providers, uploads, backups, SSH, RDP, and optional tunnels. You remain responsible for credentials, provider costs, server changes, backups, permissions, and reviewing actions before they affect production systems.

GhostlyDDns

GhostlyDDns can update Cloudflare DNS records when your public IP changes. You are responsible for record selection, token scope, token storage, DNS effects, domain control, monitoring, and recovery from incorrect or failed updates.

GhostlyHosting

GhostlyHosting can help set up an Ubuntu VPS, Nginx, SSL, GitHub deploys, Cloudflare DNS, backups, and services. It is not managed hosting. You remain responsible for the server, patches, secrets, monitoring, costs, backups, logs, and incident response.

PixelPress

PixelPress converts and compresses local images. Keep original files and backups. You are responsible for output quality, format compatibility, metadata decisions, file selection, and checking images before publishing.

Blazor source downloads and country flags

Blazor components, SEO source downloads, and SVG country flag packages are digital assets for implementation work. They do not guarantee SEO ranking, accessibility compliance, legal compliance, political neutrality, or compatibility with every project.

Third-party services

Stores, payments, hosting, and external platforms

GhostlyInc may use third-party platforms for payments, downloads, hosting, releases, tunnelling, DNS, issue tracking, documentation, affiliate links, and app distribution.

Those platforms are not controlled by GhostlyInc. Their own terms, privacy notices, refund processes, account rules, limits, outages, and regional availability may apply.

Privacy

Personal data, cookies, and local storage

GhostlyInc.com is designed to avoid advertising trackers and Google Analytics. The site still requires limited technical data to deliver pages, localise the experience, run checkout flows, and operate interactive checks.

The data that may be processed includes server log data, IP address, user agent, referrer, preferred language, selected culture, checkout state, selected products, and technical browser details when you run fingerprint or IP-related checks.

The purposes are page delivery, security, abuse prevention, localisation, checkout delivery, troubleshooting, fraud reduction, and showing interactive privacy or fingerprint information that you request.

The legal bases can include contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where consent is required.

A culture cookie may be used to remember the selected language route. Session storage may be used for language switching and reconnect behaviour. Protected browser storage may temporarily hold checkout state so a paid download can be started after Stripe returns to the site.

Interactive IP or fingerprint checks may call external IP lookup services and may process browser signals such as screen size, timezone, language, user agent, and network information to show the result.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent where applicable. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority.

Affiliate disclosure

Affiliate links and recommendations

Some links on GhostlyInc.com are affiliate or sponsored links. GhostlyInc may receive a commission if you purchase through those links.

Affiliate compensation does not remove your responsibility to compare the provider, read the final price, check renewal terms, check refund terms, and decide whether the product fits your use case.

Responsible use

Acceptable use for tools and downloads

You may use Ghostly tools and downloads only for lawful, authorised, and responsible purposes.

You may not use Ghostly tools for malware, phishing, credential theft, spam, harassment, illegal content, unauthorised access, copyright infringement, doxxing, privacy violations, abusive automation, or exposing systems you do not own or control.

Public links can be accessed by anyone who has the link unless you add effective access protection. Password protection, random URLs, or local warnings are not a full security audit.

If harmful or abusive use is detected or credibly reported, access to related features, links, downloads, or support channels may be limited where technically possible.

Liability

Warranty and liability limits

GhostlyInc content, tools, downloads, examples, and software are provided on an as-is and as-available basis unless a product page or mandatory law states otherwise.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GhostlyInc does not promise that content, tools, downloads, public links, DNS updates, server actions, image conversions, SEO components, or deployment workflows will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, compatible, or suitable for a specific purpose.

You are responsible for backups, test environments, credentials, provider accounts, DNS settings, exposed services, local files, server configuration, legal permissions, and review of changes before using tools in production.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or mandatory product liability where applicable.

Changes

Changes to these terms

GhostlyInc may update these terms when products, downloads, payment flows, tools, laws, providers, or site behaviour change. The updated date shows when this page was last changed.

If you do not agree with updated terms, stop using the website, downloads, or tools that depend on them.
